Abstract

A heat exchanger is a stacked foil micro-reactor. It defines channels in mutual contact. These return a sidestream of exhaust gases extracted upstream, with an added ammonia-releasing compound. The channel open cross section is 20-500 µm.

Preferred Features: To heat the micro-reactor, electrical resistance is employed. The ammonia-release compound is provided in solid or liquid form, in a reservoir. Equipment provided, transfers the compound in solid form, into the micro-reactor.
