IGF projects
IMVT also engages in research cooperations with small and medium enterprises. Often funding is provided by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) through the Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen „Otto von Guericke“ e.V. (AiF) and by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt e.V.).

Development of a module for phase separation in a µDMFC | Portable micro direct methanol fuel cells (µDMFC) are of great interest as power supply for small electric devices. During the operation, CO2 is formed by the reaction of methanol and water at the anode side of the fuel cell, generating a two-phase flow. |
